We are a small hobby breeder of standard and mini goldendoodles. We are located at the base of the beautiful Oquirrh Mountains in South Jordan, Utah. When I discovered the goldendoodle three years ago, I knew the ideal dog had been created. I had first heard of the Labradoodle, but many owners of Labradoodles complain of their higher shedding coats. The goldendoodles have a better success rate for being low shedding. I searched far and wide for a goldendoodle that retained the golden retriever personality and bulky build, but also had the silkier, no-shed curls of a poodle. Finally, I came across our first female, Kyah. She was the pick of the litter in a litter of eight.
We chose to breed Kyah this Spring to a 16-champion-pedigree, six pound Toy Poodle named Chocolate Chip. "Chip" comes to us from Bonnie Blue Kennels. He was hand picked as the sire for our first Miniature Goldendoodle litter. Kyah was surgically inseminated, and will be due on May 31st, 2008. We are expecting some beautiful chocolate, black, apricot, and cream colored miniature goldendoodles that will range between 15 lbs. and 40 lbs.
